Essay (fav one lol): Wrote about the economic disparity of education in richer neighborhoods and poorer neighborhoods. I moved independently from a poor school (89% poverty rate) to a richer school that has less than 1% of students in poverty. This was the inspiration that made me want to study Economics.

Heard back on Friday. Accepted. Cognitive Science Major (B.S). In-state. 1310 SAT. 3.875 UC GPA.
Been rejected from all UC’s so far, accepted to Cal Poly SLO though…
@AZNboi15 the disadvantage about the CSU system is that they only look at GPA and SAT, nothing else about the student as a whole.

Everyone saying that acceptances are done, they a r e n ’ t d o n e. There might be mostly rejections today, but istg acceptances aren’t done yet, there have been more people talking about waitlists than acceptances, and barely any social sciences people and humanities and liberal arts people have gotten answers. Multiple sources have said that it isn’t done yet, so please let’s keep it positive not freak people out and just wait, because that’s all we can really do.
The way UCI has handled admissions this year is going to fuel those old rumors of collusion amongst UC campuses. Arguably by waiting this late, UCI would be able to check acceptances to other UC campuses before extending offers.
