Just found out DS accepted to USD. Between USD, CPP, CSUF and CSULB, which is strongest for chem/biochem? (Still assuming UC I and Berk will give us the big L)

@darnwaitlist you kinda got it wrong there. UCs like UCLA, UCSD, UCI, UCSB, UCB that get over 100k applicants will admit around 20k to 30k applicants. THEN, out of those 20-30k applicants they predict (and usually this happens fine except for what happened with UCI last year) that 5-7k will ENROLL which is the average amount per year. Not everyone that these UCs admit will go so they have to accept a lot more. Also, that’s why UCI is taking such a long time this year because of the over-enrollment that happened last year, so they’re looking more to the students that will actually “enroll” themselves to the school, and not pick another college, but that is difficult to determine because UCs do not communicate with eachother on who they accept or deny.
