The UC system is odd in regards to financial aid. I heard somewhere that they admit more OOS than us locals (meaning Californians). But ironically, there is little to no aid for them.

Yeah, their admissions too. It has shown that statistics don’t matter and personality does.

I know that each year the percentage of OOS admission acceptances rises for the UC system as a whole. For UCI, 67% are in a state.
