Rejected for Environmental engineering. 3.9 W and 33 ACT. I applied to seven schools (two CSU’s and 5 UC’s) and got rejected from 6. I got into UCSD under my alternate major which is not really what I want to do. What a wonderful ending to four tough years in high school. Feeling very defeated. So glad that trying this hard has gotten me into the school I wanted to go to the least. I can’t believe I’m going to college 10 minutes from my house… whatever thanks California.

Being from socal, snow isn’t exactly my piece of cake, and besides… USC is good in all rankings: 21 academically and top 10 in attractiveness of student body

I hope so too. Every time I check the portal and there’s no change, it gives me some hope but at the same time a bit of dread.
I still have not seen a lot of rejections yet. Considering that there should be about 90,000 of them I think the big wave will come later tonight or tomorrow.
Remember, UCI admits you to their campus first THEN major. You could’ve been admitted through undeclared if they didn’t choose to you through your 1st and 2nd major choices. So, some of you might’ve gotten flat out rejected b/c of your application, not by major.
