Just got rejected for mechanical engineeing.
Make, in-State. 1300 SAT 3.85 UW, 3.97 W,
4-year student athlete. 1 year of Job experience. Top 20% of a class of 600 students. Lot of volunteer work for last 4 years in my community.
Senior year taking Calc AB, Ap physics 1, Ap chemistry, principles of engineeing (POE).
Just got rejected:/ oh well, probably going to go to UCSC. Good luck to those waiting!

@Katen1 SAT 1440 (8/8/8 on essay piece), GPA 3.9 a few AP’s - he was riding in his friends car in Nov 2016 and was in a fatal crash where his best friend (driver) died and threw off his whole Junior year 
took him months to recover - he had pleaded in his essay about this - don’t think any UC’s care as he didn’t get into any
