Crazy how the are rejecting people who got into better schools then uci . System is wack this year. I swear on it. Nice knowing y’all and I wish y’all the best. Been rejected to every school but one low Csu. Gonna do transfer route ig. Good luck

@kle2018 Wow yeild protection! I cannot believe some of you guys’s amazing stats, but who got even accepted??
UCI’s average last year was GPA4.1 and ACT29, and my son has the exact stats and got waitlisted(Quantitative Economics).
UCI thought he got into either UCD or UCSB already or something? Unfortunately he got waitlisted by those(and Cal Poly), too.

Sister rejected. Looks like it’s UC davis time.
i rly feel bad for kids who are applying in future years, i feel like it only gets harder to get into college
@10s4life UCD is a great school and great campus. I am sure you already know that but had to say it. Did a tour a few weeks ago and dorms are really big and nice.
@meb1meb1 Yep! My dad is an alum and I spent a summer quarter there. Great school and town. Plus the dorms are way bigger than the ones in LA

@10s4life UCD is a really great school, campus and culture. A great place for her to be.
Tbh i applied for fall 2016 and looking at how things are now, I’m not sure I would’ve gotten into all the UCs I did if I were a 2018 applicant. Everything is just so much more competitive.

@10s4life really big dorm rooms! Way bigger than Hedrick triple or Rieber double at UCLA! And the town is great too
