Essays: I wrote about finding interest in my desired field in exploring education oppurtunity outside my high school, leadership when our teams best player got hurt and I had to step up as an underclassmen, my best friend attempting to commit suicide and depression that ensued but how I was able to realize sensation is temporary and how I gained maturity, finally how I witnessed a car accident and helped a man out of his car while others stood around me recording and how I extend teaching values of humanism and togetherness to the kids I teach and impact. 1-6/10, 2-4.5/10, 3-7/10, 4-7/10. I consider myself a good essay writer overall, but i prepared most of my essays in the week preceeding their due date

Resident in Cali
I applied for aid, recieved 35k in grants (27k) and Loans (8k) and my annual income is 27k but I am paying for education myself
I am not first gen

Reflection: I think my personal statements and volunteering experience along with that spedific success and dedication to basketball were my strengths, otherwise this was a reach for me for sure but all the uc’s for me were reaches but I just wanted to know what would happen.
