Just got accepted!
Congrats!! @BumblebeeCW what major?
@BumblebeeCW Congrats!!
@getincollege thank you! and psychology!
@CancelOut thank you!
When did u get accepted?
@BumblebeeCW you’re welcome. Just curious, have you received your admit packet from SD yet?
@CancelOut no I have not!
anyone else get accepted yet?
When a Transcript says “received” under the “My Schools Tab”, does that mean it has been evaluated? or does it simply mean it’s received. I looked it up and I got mixed answers.
still waiting…i guess this means i didn’t get in
@enaidmik someone posted that you can get admitted in July too. Don’t lose hope!
I sent in my transcripts but it still says they have not been received …
I will be reapplying from UC Santa Cruz as a Biology B.S. major. With the fall quarter update after reapplying my gpa should be a 3.68. Do i have a good shot at being accepted?
I’m going to transfer success B tomorrow and have no idea where I am going in the morning. There is no information online as to where this will be taking place, I haven’t received any emails with more information, and I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone on campus to find out. If anyone has information please let me know!
NVM, finally got an email
For those who already went to the Academic Advising Session, was it really 3 hours long? If it was, what did it consist of? Thank You!
@CancelOut I went to mine but it was less than 2 hours long. All we did was turn in our unofficial transcripts, briefly talked about what the major reqs were, what the university reqs were. After that we were taken to a computer lab where we chose out the classes we wanted and they cleared any prerequisites you may have. If you already know the schedule you want I advise taking it with you and having the course numbers to speed up your process when registering. This also comes in handy if you’re planning to take a course that’s almost filled up because you’ll have a better chance of getting into it. Good luck!
@6aturn I thought unofficial transcripts were necessary ONLY if you were changing majors? Do you think it would still be necessary to bring unofficial transcripts if Irvine already received all my official ones? Lastly, I know it’s called academic advising for a reason but are you told what you should classes you should take specifically?
Thank You!
hey guys I have a question. Those of who got accepted did you get an email from financial aid about “Alert: Visit 2015-16 “My Academic Status” for Financial Aid Eligibility”? I got the information from summer advising that our gpa starts over when we starts in fall 2015 quarter.( When I went there 3 weeks ago) I was just wondering…
