Not sure if anyone else has said this already, there are so many posts to go through haha.
But to those wondering if their PIQs made or broke their admission, I had read on a lot of websites that UCI doesn’t even read essays…neither does UCSB or UCSC. Can’t seem to find any info from the UC website to confirm or deny this, though. Has anyone else read this?
Hopefully it gets fixed asap. Quick question though, does it say what major you got waitlisted with or did you assume you will get waitlisted with your major? Cause mine doesn’t say what major, but all it says is that they will offer me a spot on the waitlist?

I honestly do not understand how I got rejected. I am a Tag Applicant that got a 3.9 GPA and fulfilled all requirements.

I just found out they only accepted 3% of all B.A. transfer applicants in 2015
Just got rejected for mechanical engineering.
Seems like a lot of well qualified students as well are getting rejected which is really strange
