I heard rumors that they do this if they believe you will not commit to the school overall.
i got waitlisted here and rejected at a low tier UC and UCB. I was not missing any major requirements.

See that is where I am unsure because I have not gotten confirmation and that is why I stated that as a rumor rather than fact.
Admitted to Psych Sciences slightly after 5. Not TAG. In shock. Was not optimistic after UCD rejection, but UCI was my first choice so Iām literally in tears. Best of luck to everyone as you move forward, wherever you go 
Sorry to hear this, UCI was my dream school as well but got rejected. Iāve heard from many supportive friends that moments like these donāt define us and we should just see this as a path to different and maybe even better opportunities. Keep your head up 
Hey everyone, Iāve been browsing / refreshing the forms most of the day today, I just made an account to ask a question.
So Iām transferring from a local CCC into the Psych major. I have a 3.68 gpa and I completed the TAG / Honors program at my school. Iāve also applied to UCLA
I was rejected today even with TAG certification, did this happen to anyone else? Can I still be rejected even with TAG? Is there a way of confirming if my TAG was denied?
I have a few prior transfers which I used to fill out a few requirements (my counselors applied the CC credits for these courses).
Any ideas?
I did TAG as well and got rejected today. I did all the required classes. I dont know why I got rejected. Let me know if you find anything out. I would like to know why I got rejected even after TAG!

Just found out I got rejected for mech engineering even though I tagged and met all of the requirements.
@seanari @idontknow42 if you were rejected, youāre rejected. Any TAG issue would have rolled you over into regular admission. Iām sorry. If you think there is a redeeming issue you can appeal, but as you were not TAG qualified (otherwise you would have gotten in) then you missed a requirement.
It looks like they fixed the Waitlist Form.
