I guess they only released waitlist decisions for bus admin majors today. That’s so odd but congrats to everyone that was accepted!

Is there anyone else who got admitted on the second wave who has NOT recieved their welcome packet via mail? I changed my address on the UC app. in January and wondering if maybe it got sent there.

haven’t gotten mine either, I changed my mailing address in January as well and it reflects on the UC app but in my portal it shows both addresses still. hopefully they send it to the right one because ive already got a package from UCSD
I already posted this on the UCSD thread, but can someone please offer me any guidance? I am in between UCI and UCSD for Political Science. I plan to take advantage of all the opportunities I can find since I want to go to law school. I just want to go to the school that can better prepare me. UCSD is close to home and offered me great financial aid while UCI is like an hour away but gave me a full ride. I’m just really stuck. Which school do you guys believe would be better for my major + future in law?
Hey Ohm I had a question and was wondering if you could help me out. I got admitted for pre-soc at UCLA and was wondering if I could switch to cognitive science? I know I would have to do some pre reqs. But I’m more wondering as a transfer student that is recently accepted will the school allow me to switch over? I saw in another discussion you spoke to someone about it but that thread is closed now. If anyone else knows the answer feel free to chime in!
does anyone else still have documents under review through Financial Aid?
I just check my financial aid award today and my cal grant isn’t showing up. I checked CSAC account and it says that my application process is “awaiting processing” and that it will be update by the end of July. I don’t know what to do. Do I just wait until the Cal grant offer shows up in my financial aid award or do I accept the ones I got for now?
I’m a second Bach applicant. Just got the acceptance notification at around 6am. I got admitted for Software Engineering. My first bachelor’s was a social science major at different UC campus.
Completed all lower-div software engineering courses (except STATS 67 and Java) and completed 4 upper division software engineering courses before Summer 2020.
One of the conditions of acceptance, was earning at least a 2.0 GPA for Spring quarter. However, do any transfer admits know if it’s ok to take all their Spring 2020 courses pass/no pass and how that would effect the GPA conditional requirement?
Got my welcome package yesterday. Very lackluster. UC Santa Barbara’s was the best one I received.
UCSB was just stickers. I like how UCI actually sent an official letter and that cute anteater banner thing.

interesting they send people diff welcome packages. UCSB sent me a lot more than stickers. I got the letter, stickers, a little booklet with quotes & pictures, & a poster. besides Its not how much they sent it was the delivery & the message behind it ?
Does anyone else have trouble getting in contact with UCI admissions? I sent them an email a few weeks ago and another 8 days ago, yet I still haven’t gotten a response. I’m unsure whether both have been unseen and tossed, or if they are backed up due to the pandemic. Either way, should I try emailing them again?
