For anyone who was admitted onto the waitlist in the previous waves, were you sent financial aid before your SIR date?
Here is the criteria for changing majors for DS: Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences
Changing major to Cognitive Science: School of Social Sciences
The reality is that getting access to register for some of the required courses to declare the major can be difficult if the major is impacted so I would check with the departments and advising to make sure that declaring these majors can be done in a timely manner.

Does anyone know if there is chance of scholarship or any aid from UCI afteracceptance in waitlist?
Update: S24 was accepted off the UCI waitlist yesterday for Physics. UCI was his “pre-season” #1 pick, but after visiting UC Davis and its Physics Dept Open House during Aggie Day, he is sticking with UC Davis. He will turn down UCI to help kids still on UCI waitlist.
