To those who got accepted off the waitlist yesterday, till what day do you have to commit to uci

Wait so does that mean that there will be no waitlist decision until after June 14th?

I have a question do waitlisters get a notification if they didn’t get admitted ? My daughter is waitlisted n we are so worried 
UCI will either send denials or they will announced they have closed to the waitlist once they have met their enrollment target.

Hey guys, I’m a prospective student trying to get into UCI. I’m currently on the waitlist just waiting to get in. I’ve gotten multiple offers, but UCI has been my dream school so I’m hoping to get in. I’m an aerospace engineering major so I’m not sure how easy or if I have much of a chance to get in. There’s nothing I can do to increase my chances either right? I feel that admissions for colleges this year were very hard and to put it into perspective, I am the valedictorian of my class, got 2 AAs from community college while in high school, and had pretty good extracurriculars. I’m not sure why I didn’t get in right away because my stats were good and my essays were also top notch. My major was impacted, but at the same time I felt I was very competitive. Any information or reassurance is appreciated! Good luck everyone!

So I heard that transfers already heard back from their waitlist decision. My concern is does that mean that I have low chance getting off the waitlist? My major is biological science and so far I have not heard many biosci getting off the waitlist.

From what I have heard, there was one waitlist wave for new students on 6/7, one wave for transfers around 6/14, and a second wave for transfers mid last week. I think chances are low for all of us still waiting.

Only admissions knows if there are any more spots left so all you can do is wait.
Has anyone called the admissions office recently to ask about anymore waitlist waves?
Has there been no movement on the Irvine waitlist as far as we know? Or just no updates here?
I’ve been watching a few places - heard nothing on the incoming freshman waitlist since wave one on 6/14. A couple other UCs have closed their waitlists I have heard.
