Damn bro, I’ve gotten UCSB reception and UCD, and UCSD banner is gone but I have an error here. 
Oh wow I heard UCI was really unpredictable so I’m scared, but I’m hoping this means I have a good sign since my UCSD banner didn’t disappear :’)

I am able to log into the portal and the log into financial aide (Zotaide) and it all comes up. I did fill out fafsa though so not sure if that is just what happens when you do that. Applied for Social Policy and Public Service. Have a 4.25 ish uncapped and a 4.04 capped UC/CSU, pretty good ECs and I believe good interview (PIQ) responses, but I may be off base. Good luck everyone. This is interesting and helping me to pass the time a bit.
If anyone is curious, someone made a graph of the data for the portal astrology on the subreddit lol. Good luck to everyone!
Also, my financial aid page updated to say that my FAFSA was pending today. I hope this is a good sign!

So the astrology worked for me but I see a lot of posts where it didn’t work, (people able to sign in rejected, people not able to accepted) I feel bad I’m really grateful I got in though
On the other hand I’m also glad for the people who were accepted without the astro 
don’t give up hope guys!

StarzAndKnights- Just checking in– how did your UCI decision turn out, if you don’t mind sharing? My daughter was rejected– not even a wait list. English major. She is fine with it, though, which is good. She just kind of shrugged her shoulders when she found out. She knew going in how competitive it would be. She is still waiting for decisions from UCSD, UCLA, and UCSB. The only one she might actually care about is UCSB (but only if she gets into the College of Creative Studies, which is going to be tough). She is fine with the private school options she has, so we are totally okay with it if she does not get into any of the UC schools.

Hi I got waitlisted lol. Its a little weird since alot of strong applicants that I knew (early berk) got waitlisted. One of my friends had the financial thing for uci, yet he still got waitlisted. Im still waiting for UCSD, UCLA, UCB so im rlly hoping I can get into one of those. But for UCSB, there was an astrology that seemed 100% accurate since it said you got admitted to X major literally. but it got patched
Really? I don’t see a portal astrology thread for this year for UCSB. Is it in the regular discussion board?
Sorry about the WL. You have a pretty good shot of getting off the WL based on past years.
The UCSB astrology was only available for a couple of hours. There was a form to “change major” that appeared to show the student’s admitted major. But it was rapidly patched.

thank you thank you for the UCI wishes, and the UCSB astro was on reddit. But looks like its patched. Im hoping the best for your daughter and wishing both of us get into UCSD/UCLA/UCB lol, those are my dream haha, if u want I can PM u what the UCSB astro looked like, im not sure if im allowed to share UCSB stuff here lol

I think you have a good chance at getting at least one of them! Good luck, I also think you have a good chance of getting off the waitlist for uci ^^ I guess we’ll see how the ucsd astrology turns out, either way you’re a strong applicant imo
The anticipation though I thought I was going to know yesterday. Did you get to see if you got the ucsb astrology, or did you get into/ apply to davis? (If you want to share)
Hey np, I got the UCSB astro and i got into davis lol. But yea, hopefully i can get off the WL. I dont really have high hopes for berk since i still have email.. But uh hopefully UCLA and UCSD are where Ill end up going haha

Yea haha, it was weird. I heard so many overqualified applicants such as my friends who got waitlisted from UCI. Obv ucs dont do yield protection, but im starting to think they might have some form of yield prot lol or they look at applications weirdly, esp since that same guy got into caltech and CMU lol.
My daughter got waitlisted when portal said error login. So many kids from her school got waitlisted this year, including Caltech and Harvey Mudd admits.
UCSB astro seems accurate, can see admitted major when she received reception invite.
