yea, the process for UCI is just very weird.. Im just coping but, im thinking its yield protection and praying I can get into UCSD/UCLA/UCB
Yes, UCI is the one most unpredictable.
On their 24/25 CDS documents, it shows 100% acceptance for waitlist, seems to be an error.

I heard UCI typically accepts 20-25% off waitlist with one year being about 80%? So im guessing that is a bug though.

As I mentioned earlier, I was able to log into the financial aide portal and see all the items that were mentioned in the astro, yet was not offered admission or waitlist. I was thinking about this and the only thing that I can offer is that I applied to the UC Cosmos program a few years back. While it wasnt directly for UCI, I wonder if that allowed the system to recognize me in some way. Maybe its a totally seperate system and doesn’t matter. I am not a CS major and I can follow along for the most part but some of the items, particularily on the UCB discussion are a bit out of my depth of knowledge.
That’s interesting, although one of my friends who was able to log in (3.7 gpa) but had no listed major was so surprised by the astro. Unfortunately, they didn’t get admitted, and they didn’t sign up for COSMOS either. I guess UCI astrology is proven false, even though it did ‘work’ for a good number of people. Hoping the best for everyone ^^
