UC Living??

im thinking about looking at places right now, but i dont wanna give myself any false hopes loll

Haha edbraga and CalBearGuy, I’m doing the exact same thing. Hopefully I’m not inadvertently instilling false hope within myself.

San Diego, Davis, or Santa Barbara.

Ive been planning out elaborate living situations and locating all the vegan food around UCB UCLA SB and Irvine , nothing wrong with a little preparation.

I grew up in the Bay Area and have lived in west Los Angeles (Santa Monica) for the past two years. I am very familiar with Westwood. I must say, Berkeley has much more to offer for a college student. Westwood has very little to offer but the extended LA area has a lot of stuff to do. Then again, so does the extended Bay Area. Both are excellent but regarding immediate area, Berkeley is definitely more fun than Westwood IMO and I think a lot of LA natives would agree.

lol. Just because rich people, celebrities, and all those who think they are above the world flock to LA…does not mean LA sucks. Obviously lame celebrities are going to stay close to here for work in Hollywood. Obviously rich fake people are going to live here for work reasons too. However, saying that the California sucks because of LA indicates that you either have never been to LA, or you live in the ghetto. Not my problem. Don’t hate LA just because people use the media and entertainment industry to make money off society. If they don’t do it here they would do it somewhere else anyway. It’s called a career. Besides, all I see are those rich, fake, superficial people on TV giving millions of dollars to the Haiti relief effort, so they are not totally useless now are they?

Dude, been to LA a few times and I will stick to my statement that LA sucks. First those beautiful sunsets you see there are cause of the extremely unhealthy amount of smog. My main complaint is the culture that comes out of LA people in our country are proud of. Every “hit” show on tv these days broadcasted to millions of people all over the world are ■■■■■■■■ reality shows based out of LA. And it is a shame this is the culture that is prided and boasted about here in America not just california. I grew up in Santa Barbara and now currently live in Santa Cruz. Santa Barbara is full of stuck up b1tches like LA and this is why I dont live there anymore. Plus coming back from combat zone I wanted a little relaxation time away from stuck up people who live in their little fake reality. Now why dont these rich ass people with careers donate their time to have telethons to raise millions of dollars for the sick and poor americans that live is in this country. No i am not saying helping haiti is bad.

Yes I just turned this CC post into a political argument…

@scoopydowop, to add on to your argument, they don’t say “hella” down there in socal!

Berkeley, because it would mean I had gotten into cal. Other than that, probably Westwood because it’s tons of fun.
