So I’ve heard that for the personal statement, you must submit only one. That one will go to all the UC’s you’ve applied for as a one-for-all kind of thing. My question is that my major is not limited to only any one specific one: such as psychology which would be the same across campuses. So how can I specify what my intended major is?

Depending on the UC, the majors I’m applying are: UCLA’s International Development Studies, UCB’s Development Studies, UCS’s International Relations, UCSD/UCI’s International Studies, UCR/UCSB’s Global Studies

The prompt: What is your intended major? Discuss how your interest in the subject developed and describe any experience you have had in the field — such as volunteer work, internships and employment, participation in student organizations and activities — and what you have gained from your involvement.

Thanks so much in advance!
