Yes! The 2FA is making it so that I can’t check the portal before son gets home from school. 
same here. S25 told me he needs to call IT and get a bypass code to login. Snail Mail it is.
seriously though not blaming UCR, he probably did not setup the portal fully.
Edit: Apparently bypass codes are unique codes generated for each user and are in a downloaded text file. Each code can only be used once. Feel dumb but all is well. S25 admitted to CS+Bus, his first choice. UW 3.91, WC:4.14.

Same situation. Can’t log in. Never signed into portal I guess? Now doesn’t recognize email.
a 900 minute wait for IT at the moment.
Perhaps a follow up email will put the decision in the email vs having to log in?

I believe UCSC put the decision in the email itself. They were smart and did not want to be bothered on a friday.

Applicants will have to download the Duo app on their phone and use it for authentication. The Duo app has to add UCR on the account. IT can walk you through once you get past the wait

If you are into rankings, UCR CS department punches way above its weight (#27). But in this CS market that is not a guarantee of placement outcomes, more an indication of quality research.

Students have been logging into their portals for their decisions.
Portals usually update first before emails are sent.
Son received the email. Most of the times email is delayed. Best option is directly login to portal and check.
My kid received an email with the subject line “Your admission decision is ready”. Now he just needs to get home from school so he can open it

Just curious if the decisions are rolling out in waves or all at once this year? Son received notification in the email but he can’t log in. Bummer. Called IT and says waiting time is 1000+ minutes now.
My son never used that set up link before, it says expired on march. when click on the setup, showing that the link was used before. As a result, no way to login. Tried sending an email to their help desk. Does UCR requires people to logon to view? do they email the admission letter?
