UC Riverside Transfer Fall 2016

@nothingpersnal that’s awesome! I would like to know more about glen mor  and how I could find roommates.

Also, was wondering if anyone from the OC area (I’m a GWC student myself) wants to carpool to Highlander Day next month? Apparently OCC/GWC/Coastline schools have already toured UCR this semester so they won’t be attending as a school function - plus April 9th they will be touring CSUF.

Carpool buddies? Will happily pay for gas.

@Eterion Sounds like a good idea, but i personally can’t drive lol (i would contribute for gas too though)

Damn got my financial aid and award money. they give some phat sums.

@Intuitiveoblgtns - Boo. My car is older, so not sure it’d survive the drive lol.

@ssm24k - I know! And it doesn’t even include GI Bill - wonder how that’ll work. Have to decide whether to SIR or not (or wait for the other UCs) and then reach out to VA at UCR.

Will definitely attend Highlander Day though.

I visited riverside during transfer day and I really enjoyed it

Ok so how do I log into the housing application? I used my student id but don’t know the password? How do I know what it is

Still have not heard back.

@uchopeful414 did you SIR? I believe you have to before you can fill out the housing application.

Yeah I SIRed. I did it just so I can get a spot on the wait list for Oban. If Davis or SB accepts me I’m just going to withdrawal my SIR and lose the 100$

I can’t wait to SIR. But still waiting for other UC especially Irvine

Lemme just say, it felt good

Lol that’s very exciting.

Does anyone know, or want to guesstimate, when the next admissions batch is going to be released? Or is it just random people getting decisions at random times instead of them coming out in groups?

Probably down to individual admissions now. ~O)

Just wanted to say that I was never able to review my financial aid status but got my financial aid award first.

@kamiture Welp. I don’t know if I have the patience to wait. I got all my CSU acceptances so fast that maybe I became spoiled. (:expressionless:

@ssm24k ikr. Basically all paid for by them for me, just have to find money for food and a few months rent and maybe car stuff. The amount of aid I got is making me think about picking UCR over UCSB or UCD if I get in there but without the fantastic aid.

@uchopeful414 I was informed that if you SIR to one UC it kinda voids the applications to the others since it’s in the same system.

quote from their website “You may accept admission to one campus only. You may not transfer your acceptance from one campus to another after you declare your intent to register. A $100 nonrefundable deposit must accompany your acceptance.”

You played yourself bro.

Actually I didn’t. You can SIR any campus you want. And you are able to withdrawal it whenever you want. People do it all the time
