Thank you man! Congrats to you too. @CancelOut keep updated as well.
Woo-hoo I just got in from the waitlist!
Major: Anthropology
GPA: 3.1
I honestly thought I was getting in. Made me day :]
@BumblebeeCW how are you planning to withdraw your SIR at ucr? I’m not sure how this process would work.
I believe you email admissions! @CancelOut
Okay thank you!!
@CancelOut on the UCR website they tell you how to cancel your Sir. You have to email one of two people depending on your last name. And they tell you what to include in the email. In case you haven’t done so yet. The front desk lady had told me to email admissions but the website says otherwise.
Just Submitted my Sir!
anyone else in Roosevelt?
@BumblebeeCW Could you provide me with the link please? I can’t find it. I’ve only e mailed the general admissions for UCR and didn’t get a response so far.
Hi guys,
I have decided to transfer to SD after debating between it and UIUC until last minute lol.
Major CS here, Muir college.
Anybody applying for the village housing?
If I was told to sign the contract and pay 650 deposit, does it mean I’m guaranteed a spot?
Admitted Students, When did you receive your admit packet? It’s been over 2 weeks since I was admitted and I didn’t get mines yet.
@CancelOut I was admitted over a month ago and just got my admit packet today! It’s very cool, btw. Got a “certificate of admission” that looks like a diploma.
@alchemistress Wow, I rechecked the thread and you were admitted May 22. That is a long time for an admit packet to come. Nevertheless, Thank You for the info!
@CancelOut I received mine a week after my acceptance. I live in southern California so that might of helped.
I was admitted June 12th and received it yesterday.
Anyone else in ERC?
Also, anyone living off campus? Need help finding a place!
Is it possible to get a refund for the orientation?
Here’s what it says for me, Muir College @justanother1
“The fee for Orientation is $85 per student. Please note that since Orientation is mandatory, all students will be assessed $85 regardless of ability to attend. The Program Fee will be charged to each student’s account and will appear on the September UCSD billing statement on Tritonlink.”
Congrats to everyone who got accepted!
I’m actually just applying this year for transfer, and UCSD is one of my top choices.
I’m planing on applying as an International Studies/Political Science major, but by any chance does anyone know if we have to take a foreign language in college (on assist.org it only gives us 1-2 classes such as French and a Chinese language class)? I took 3 years of Spanish in high school, but that’s more to fulfill my IGETC requirement…but can this also fulfill my prereq’s also?
If you got accepted with an international studies or political science major, can you shed some light and let me know? (:
I called the school, but the way the counselor described it was quite confusing…
