Yes but you must SIR to the other by June 1 if you haven’t heard back yet. Then if you get in you need to pay the SIR deposit for the new one and forfeit the first.

Thank you so much for the advice I’m definitely going to do a lot more research and see if it’s possible to switch majors. If not UCR is always a good option. Definitely going to set up some counseling meeting to see my options.

My friend from CC got into the same major as well! He’s very happy. Although he got rejected from UCI </3
@cctransfergal I changed my major to Political Science: Public Policy. So simple and the letter is updated immediately. Super torn. But I refuse to think about it further until Sunday. Need a break from admissions madness. ? Good luck with your decision!

Im transferring from San Diego Mesa College. To either UCSD or UCR does anyone know if you can get counseling from UCSD without accepting your SIR? I’m trying to find out if I should attend for my alternate major
