DD got off the waitlist today for cognitive science. Finally a WL moves for her! It’s funny because this was her top choice last fall and she was disappointed not to be admitted straight away. But now, she isn’t sure she will accept. She has settled in at the school she SIRed to and doesn’t know if she even wants to make a change. It is sure nice to have the option, though.

There is no “ usual”. Each year is different. All you can do is wait for a decision.

UC Davis. We went up for Aggie Day and really liked the relaxed feel of the campus. She took her placement tests and completed some online orientation so she is a bit attached to the school now. We will see what happens by next Monday.

Yes, and this year is extra unusual due to the FAFSA snafu that pushed all the deadlines back.

Anybody got off for Applied Maths
A family friend of ours’ son got off the WL for applied math but turned it down because he had already SIR’ed at a different UC campus.
