Do you happen to know if undeclared acceptances come out at the end, or at the same time as other majors?

Undeclared majors will come out the same time as the other majors if the student is pulled from the waitlist. If the waitlisted student is admitted, it could be for their primary major, alternate major or Undeclared which are all considered in the admissions process.

Does UCSD admit waitlists by department? I have only seen phsyics, poli sci, data sci and biology majors get off the waitlist so far?

They are going to admit based on the available open spots. Some departments may take longer to determine if their enrollment targets have been met, so there is no rhyme or reason on how the admits are posted for many schools.

UCSD is top 1 school for CogScience, the yield is significantly higher than overall yield. You may have better chance to get off the waitlist from other UCs for same major. If you´re OOS, might have slightly more chance. Good luck!

My daughter is waiting for Biological sciences, in state. Is chances are less? I’ am really praying god for good result.
