UC San Diego vs. Oberlin?

I know these are completely different schools, and I’ve been leaning towards UCSD for a variety of reasons, but I just found out I was awarded $25,000 in merit and $4,000 in need-based aid at Oberlin, which would make it only about $6,000 more per year than the cost of a UC with in-state tuition (excluding travel costs). I’m still thinking UCSD would be better for me and I can elaborate if necessary, but I’m wondering if anyone has very convincing reasons for seriously considering Oberlin College? (Or reasons to dismiss it despite the great aid offer, to make my decision a bit easier.) Any advice or personal experiences from either of those schools would be appreciated. Thanks!

what are you planning on majoring in?

Psychology, though I’m now very interested in the Global Health major at UCSD (as a double major/switching to Global Health), and Oberlin doesn’t have a comparable program.

Then the obvious choice is UCSD
