<p>Davis is 2.5 hours from home and San Diego is 6 hours. They are offering me very similar financial aid amounts and I have friends and family at each school. I’ve lived in the Bay Area all my life. Personality-wise, I’m pretty chill and low-key, but love funny people and am a funny person. I like hanging out with friends and simply doing “whatever”. I’m the kid in the back of AP classes staring at the walls, but somehow manages to make grades. I plan on majoring in Computer Engineering, but that is subject to change. I am really into bicycling and working out, but not organized sports so it would be cool if they had a superb gym or track.</p>
<p>Some questions:
- Which has a better computer engineering program?
- Will going to the school with the lower ranked program affect my job outlook after college?
- What kind of vibe does each city give off? La Jolla? Davis? Like what is there to do?
- Are these schools hilly or flat?
- What is Davis’s freshman car policy?
- Each school - Better for longboarding or bicycling?</p>
