On assist.org it says Course Not Articulated, so does that mean if I get accepted, I will complete the class at UCSB?</p>

<p>If yes, I also heard that you need a “B” or better in that class. Anything lower,and you won’t be able to major in ECON at UCSB. Is that true???</p>

<p>You will have to take the course at UCSB if you don’t take it at your community college.
This what they they say about prerequisite GPA: </p>

<p>“In order to qualify for admission into the Economics and Accounting major, students must complete Economics 1, 2, 3A, 3B, and 10A with a UC grade-point average of 2.85 or above. No grade lower than C in pre-major courses will be accepted. In addition, students must complete PSTAT 5E, Math 34A-B, and Writing 105AA-ZZ or 107AA-ZZ or 109AA-ZZ with a grade of “C” or higher; the grades in these courses will not be used in computing the pre-major GPA but will apply to the overall major GPA.”</p>

<p>You need a ‘B’ in Microeconomic Theory. No if’s or but’s. You won’t be admitted into the full major if you don’t get the B. </p>

<p>I plan on buying the book if I get accepted by UCSB Econ and start studying for it over the summer. Lol.</p>

<p>You can take it at another UC over the summer if you want, I know UCI and UCLA offer that course. I also applied to UCSB for Econ and Accounting and I’m worried about that class because it’s calculus based and I haven’t taken calc since spring 2011.</p>
