literally no idea how I got in but I’ve been browsing all the forums and it looks like UCI maybe put a large emphasis on our PIQ responses so maybe UCSB did as well!
@user2020 how were your EC’s and PIQ’s? It seems like a lot of the UCI decisions were very ehhhm freeform as well so perhaps they’re looking for something beyond GPA and course completion this year? perhaps the other courses you took besides the major reqs were also a factor
@letstryround2 I have the same conditions. I think they want us to finish with an overall GPA of no less than 3.0 so if you can still maintain an overall 3.0 even after getting a 2.0 for your in-progress classes, you’ll be fine (is what I Hope it means or else I interpreted it extremely incorrectly lol)
small aside but I know how u feel lol. I have ADHD something awful and I had already figured out online classes were Not my thing so it’s been real fun playing this “will I, won’t I” game in regards to even passing my classes :,) good luck to you I hope your profs will be lenient!
