what happened to UIUC? How did they reject him. Such a good profile.

I think the problem with UIUC was the major selection. We applied for CS + Economics and they only take 50 students per year I believe and him being OOS chances were much lower.

My son, also OOS, was also rejected from UIUC. Major was economics. They are getting very tough. Was disappointed since we have a lot of alums in the family (father, aunt, 2 uncles, etc.) but c’est la vie!

DD was accepted for proposed major of Anthropology!
Also accepted at quite a few CSUs (she cast a wide net) and UCR. She will decline UCSC and is deciding between CSULB and UCR. So we are flying in from the Bay Area and will split our day on April 13th attending Day at the Beach and Highlander Day. Fingers crossed for no traffic!
