Congratulations!!! and you do not have to prove it. Not everyone that is admitted will post on social media so there are always individuals that are skeptical. Were you admitted for Fall or Winter quarter and how long do you have to decide?

but surely somebody admitted would post on social mediaā¦ like, more than one dudeā¦ sorry after some other UC admission meme people on other threads Iām super skeptical of the odd guy posting that they were admitted.
Let just say I am willing to give individuals posting on CC more credibility than some of the other social media sites so unless I hear otherwise. Hopefully @seaotter168 will come back to answer the questions I posted.

tbh i think im the only doubter here, and since you are following up on the post i do believe you. there were just a few people ive seen who look at threads with a lot of anticipation and fake an acceptance to get attention and im scarred from them haha

I called the admissions office this morning and they told me waitlist decisions will continue this week through early July. So keep checking portals!

Thanks @Hemmingway2019. What phone number did you call? Did they say anything about a) Are these different batches, so the first one expecting result in June4 and then second batch after that based on batch1? b) not all majors sent out yesterday and first batch of other majors coming later?
831 459-4008 - Admissions main #. I had to wait about 10 mins to get thru to a person. Dial 0 when you get the menu options. There are continuing campus entrance blocks from the protests, so it could be that they are under-staffed this week.
I didnāt ask about specific batches. Also, FYI - this is a really overwhelming time for admissions offices; and UCSC staff is incredibly nice and helpful, so kindness/respect goes a long way.
Iām guessing there will be more movement later this week and next week. UCSB accepted a lot of kids off the waitlist today, so that should hopefully trigger some open spots at Santa Cruz.

Can anyone please please confirm if there were CS admits in the first round that was released on Tuesday?
Were there Cal State admits in the first round of Cal State admits? Thatās how Iām reading the question but I am sure that is not what you mean. Can you clarify what you are asking?

I havenāt heard anything on CS, Iāve only heard of one person admitted last Tuesday for GaCHm, and some rumors from unknown HS from the person asking about CS (you, if I remember correctly). Iām hoping some UDC or PS go through in R2 assuming the 1R ever really happened. But I heard from a bunch of people that nothing was heard yet. But donāt despair I have a good feeling you are going to get in my friend.
Thanks for the wishes, friend. I talked to Admissions office on Friday after they were closed on Wed/Thu due to protests. Person did confirm that 1R went out on Tuesday with a one-week deadline to accept but couldnāt confirm if all majors were released, or only specific seats from specific majors. Based on that info, we could probably see some movement by late next week.
My kid has officially moved on and committed elsewhere, so she will be giving up her waitlist spot when/if they open it up.
