I was accepted this morning for Film and Digital Media! I TAG’d though, so I already basically knew I was going to get in. Does anyone know when financial aid comes out? I don’t know if I can attend until I find out how expensive it will be…
This says April 1st-May 1st, but I’m assuming first years find out before transfers. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for sooner rather than later though.

@anishtheind hey I applied as an Electrical Engineering major no TAG and I haven’t received decisions either. On the portal it indicates that they do rolling admissions until April 30th so you shouldn’t be worried although I’m also getting impatient about my decision
@anishtheind hey I applied for CS with tag and I haven’t heard anything back yet. Also getting impatient but judging from last year threads there’s really no reason to worry. They were admitting people all the way up until the 30th.

@fashionista99 do u know if we as CSU transfers have to do any IGETC of any sort or certification?
@lollyv For us, we can’t really do IGETC b/c we are not in a CCC. We just need to make sure that we complete the 7-course pattern requirement. Also, as long as you are able to complete most or all of the prereqs of your intended major, you should be good.

I changed my schedule from what was declared when I applied for TAG… congrats with the acceptance
@anishtheind it seems normal. Mine says proposed and lists 54 different proposed majors I can pick from if I want to change. Didn’t expect that but its an interesting option.

Hello everyone!
I was accepted to transfer to UCSC the 17th of March! Now I’m just waiting for my financial aid package so I was wondering if anyone knew how long it would take to receive it? Has anyone whose been accepted received theirs yet? I applied last year as a freshman applicant (I was a senior in high school last year) and was also accepted but it was too expensive so hopefully this year is better

Accepted finally CS! Checked this morning. Ahhh I’m so happy.
I tagged CS but there’s no mention of it anywhere In my portal.
Also for those who have been accepted, in the update major section does your proposed major show? Mines blank for some reason.
