Do you really think UCLA or any UC School for that matter is really considering allowing any students on appear?
Don’t be FOOLED, they rejected 30,000 Plus students that were preferred just because there is not enough room. So why would they take any rejects. They figure by giving you false hope on appeal, most people will keep the masses happy.
You anyone has a lawyer dad or mom-- Have them file a motion to see the ‘real’ stats.
Some UCs do change decisions on appeal. But appeals are intended for applicants who have additional information that was not in the initial application – and it has to be a significant change. Some people say good grades first semester of senior year are not enough. I think it would be fair to say that appeals are not likely to be accepted. In other words, this is an unlikely route and someone should go into it with few expectations. Not sure why you need a lawyer to conclude that it is probably not worth your time unless you have something very, very significant that changes the application.

I highly recommend that people step back, take a deep breath, and maybe sleep on it overnight before starting a thread with a post that includes misspellings, incorrect words, and a lack of grammar and logic. @fooled : Take a look at your post. Do you really think that is UC material? I hope you were accepted somewhere that you are comfortable with.

Sorry about that, i m old school and hate these i phones. My point is that the uc system has broken down and the appeal process and the comprehensive review stages of the original application does not exist. The purpose is to satisfy rejects and affirmative action proponents. So far i see ignorance in your post regarding there being no logic, it s reality my friend. I will be introducing a bill that will expose the system and you ll. It s not as clean as you believe . You need to add some material and ideas so that the uc system offers equality to all student applicants. Lets start by opening more seats by eliminating recruitment . The uc schools spend over 50 million per year on marketing, college nights at high schools, on and on. Logic: you have over 100,000 students that did not get accepted, why waste money on recruiting if you don’t have room. I m looking for some input from someone that has the intelligent to add some ideas to refine and stop the deceit and hopes by uc systems . I don t need an english major to correct my paper, i need someone with the spine to fight the system. I showed some esteem peers and they laughed at your imput and compared your input to my position in life.
