UC Student needs suggestions

Hi everyone,
I am a hapless UCSD transfer student. I recently transferred last fall to UCSD. I had a very bad quarter and ended up with a 2.0 gpa. This quarter too, I may fail two of the three classes that I took. I was going through a very rough phase of my life. I need to get up and get going.
I am taking 3 classes next quarter. I want to know how to increase my concentration. Plus I have ****ty room-mates. I hate them to the core. Wish they go to hell.
Anyhoo, are there any suggestions. I am taking Bioengineering classes. I want to be a really kick-ass engineer.
Plus I only took 1 class last quarter, so I have to make up the units in spring and summer or else my fafsa will get cancelled.
Is there a way that I can change my situation?

Study somewhere quiet and secluded, like the library, and don’t take any technology with you. No laptops, not even a smartphone. Also, bring coffee so you won’t doze off from boredom.

Eventually, you’ll realize you have nothing to do but study.

You might want to see a counselor and talk to him/her about your issues, it really helps sometimes.

Earplugs and a sleep mask are a must, if roommates are keeping you awake. Make sure you can hear the alarm clock though.
