UC System Chances (preferably UCB UCLA UCSD)

I understand that these aren’t entirely accurate and there are many things that go into admissions decisions, but to me this is just something that can either give me reassurance or reason for improvement as an incoming senior.

What college are you applying to/What major are you pursuing?
Maybe take the ACT or SAT again? 2080 is a bit low for those schools.

Hi @rdeng2614, I’m going to be applying to UCB UCLA UCSD UCI UC Davis, SDSU, Northwestern, Stanford (hahaha :/), NYU, USC, etc. I’m still not sure on all of them. As far as my major, I honestly have no idea; right now I’m between civil/bioengineering, biochem, business, or an undergrad track that could lead me to law. As you can tell I’m indecisive at the moment so I might apply undeclared

You’ll have a better shot at the College of Letters and Sciences than the College of Engineering (Enginering is just more competitive), so if bio engineering/civil engineering aren’t a top priority, then don’t apply to the College of Engineering.
Law schools mainly look at GPA and LSAT, they don’t really look at your that often, I think as long as you have the prereqs, then major shouldn’t really matter either.

Your chances should be good. GPA is most important for UCs.

Realizing now that the for some schools the UC gpa is limited/capped with honors courses and not the average of your 10th and 11th grade gpa’s, so I think I’d have a 4.25-4.36 gpa by those standards (have to recalculate). If uncapped then it would be a 4.5

I never pay attention to cap and uncapped GPA. It’s the unweighted GPA and the number of approved honors and AP courses. You want to maximize those.
