If you have submitted a statement of purpose as part of a separate application to a professional school you need not write an additional statement here.</p>
<p>It looks like the UCLA professional schools often have their own essay requirements that supersede the UC campus. There is no need to to the campus essay if you have done the professional school’s required essays.</p>
<p>That is the way it was at my professional school at UCSD at least.</p>
