<p>"If a high school student takes a UC-transferable course at a community college and lists it on her UC application, will her grade in the course be included in her GPA, even if it is not listed on her high school transcript?</p>

<pre><code>Students must report all academic coursework. If the course the student took is in an “a-g” subject area, the grade will be calculated in the GPA, and if the course is transferable, it will earn an extra grade point and college credit. Upon admission to UC, the student will be required to submit an official transcript from the community college in addition to her high school transcript."

<p>If I take an “a-g” transferrable community college course in the fall of my senior year (the course ends on December 21), will it still be counted into my high school GPA, even if the UC application deadline is on November 30?</p>

<p>You have to update your grades sometime in Jan or Feb. Correct me if I’m wrong.</p>

<p>Transfer students are required to provide an update to the application including fall grades. On the other hand, freshmen applicants do not. No grades received in the freshman or senior year are calculated into the GPA for freshman applicants. Therefore, this college level course being completing in the senior year will not be included into your UC calculated GPA</p>
