How does it work? I tried looking online and it says that Physics is categorised in Group A but it is ‘as half courses B and C’.
what does that mean exactly?

So like, what tariff score would i get if i scored 4 and 4 on both Physics C and 5 on Physics B?

So say i would like to earn 120 UCAS tariff score for physics. does that mean i will have to get 5s for both Physics C tests and the Physics B?

Physics B and Physics C are each considered equal to half a Group A subject. Therefore each one scores you half the number of UCAS points

So

Grade 5 – 60 UCAS Tariff Points
Grade 4 – 45 UCAS Tariff Points
Grade 3 – 30 UCAS Tariff Points

To earn the full 120 points, yes, you will need to get a 5 in both Phys B/C. If you get a 4 in one AP and a 5 in the other, you’ll get 105 points (it doesn’t matter which one you do better in)
