After orientation and everything settled in, I am beginning to question my choice that I made for the next few years. I was accepted to UC Berkeley for Computer Sci and Cal Poly SLO for Software Engineering, however I turned town UCB for CP. Eventually, I want to work for a software giant such as Google or Adobe as a software engineer. Did I make the right choice? If I had the ability to make my choice again, should I have gone to UCB? Should I even consider trying to transfer to UCB in the future? I personally like smaller class sizes, however, the prestige is nice to have as well.

If this is what you like, by all means stay.

I suppose the software engineering would be just similar to computer science, except a few advance courses like 3000, or 4000 levels…

I looked at it, and seems pretty similar to what CS offers. So you shouldn’t be regret.
Keep working hard, and do a lot of stuff on your own whenever you have time.

PS: Don’t just work for others. Think about your own company
By the way, I hate Google. I am sorry.

Thanks for your opinion :D
