Does anyone know anything or have experience doing UCB global edge program? My biggest fear when it comes to college is not meeting a lot of other people in my first year, so i’m not sure if missing the first semester on the main campus would be a great idea.
My daughter is a first year student at Cal. She had one suite mate join in the spring semester who spent her first semester in Spain. As far as I know, she adjusted well! Berkeley does do an amazing job with the Golden Bear Orientation over the summer. Maybe contact the admissions office and see if there is something for students entering in the 2nd semester.
