Hey all, current transfer student from CCC wondering how people are prepping for their supplemental app for Haas. Reading all these statistics had me wondering what people are doing to better their situation.
If you wanna provide a stat sheet and question each other about rates, feel free.
My stats:
GPA: 4.0
IGETC: complete
Business prerequisites: finishing managerial accounting spring 2024 semester
College: Los Medanos (east bay)
Income bracket: high (no chance for scholarships)
Working: Yes, managing a small business as an assistant for the past 3-4 years with my dad. Also working at college as a student ambassador (outreach) to help students join community college.
Internships: Worked at a startup financial advice company to help create a platform to teach students about investing and first steps to saving their money.
Units: 63 completed currently (taken a few extra business courses as well like business law and business english and will have around 97 by end of spring)
Degrees: completed an associate in arts (maths and science), completing associates in business admin and associates in business by Spring 2024.
Early HS grad through equivalency diploma, and finishing community college in a year.
Extracurricular: Currently have my own photography gig where I take on local projects for ethnic events and have been growing on it (been doing photography since 7th grade). Current member of MESA, ABG (alpha beta gamma business honor society), and LMCAS (lmc ambassador society). Part of local volunteer group for Indian events and volunteer there constantly. Bc of early graduation, most ecs for me come from HS.
HS ecs:
GenUP student unity association (helping students voices get heard) (4+ years)
Indian American heritage club (2 years + president)
School’s award for perfect GPA (hs).
