I’m trying to invite my two teachers to submit my letters of rec to Berkeley but there are some parts of the request form I don’t understand.
This is what UCB wants in the form.
Prefix
First Name
Last Name
Organization
Position/Title
Relationship
Telephone
Email
For organization is it just my school’s name?
For Position/Title should I put just teacher or more specifically English teacher?
For Relationship do I just put teacher again?
How specific do I have to be?

@kjake2000 Not necessarily - I think requests for LOR’s will extend into January. I’m sure they are trying to get a jump on them. OP, the specific info they are asking is geared towards LOR’s from school-based AND non-school-based recs. My D had one letter from a teacher (“organization” = school name, “position/title” = AP Language Arts instructor, “relationship” = former instructor) and one from her mock trial coach, which would contain very different info in those fields. If the LOR’s are good, they will probably mention the relationship he/she has/had with you, which should confirm what you filled out in the form.
if the UCs don’t request a transcript from you, does it mean you will not get in or that your chances are lower?
