<p>i’m applying next year to UCB and UCLA. I’ve heard UCLA is a lot more picky about major prep requirements being done and UCB is a lot more focused on grades…I am under stress because I have to finish a bunch of classes in one summer session and the next fall semester. If I wanted a good shot at both would you suggest completing UCB or UCLA major requirements first or does UCB even care? Thanks in advance</p>
<p>Both schools care about grades, and major prep, although Berkeley’s major prep was more extensive than UCLA’s for my major at least. However, UCLA puts more weight on the personal statement to settle the tie between a pool of applicants with excellent grades…</p>
