bump…
can someone help me with decision.

Four year graduation rate at Berkeley was around 70% for the latest year reported (2009, so entering freshmen of 2005) in [University of California: StatFinder](http://statfinder.ucop.edu) .

Berkeley Mech Eng! yeah! It’s easy to graduate early. Not hard to get classes. Even if you are on the waitlist, you will get in no matter what if you stay with it.

There are lots of engineering jobs in Bay Area and they recruit here! Apple, Tesla, Seagate, Western Digital, Agilent, Cisco, Google, San Disk, KLA Tencor, etc…

The reason that it is “only” 70% is there are some who fail to keep up with the curriculum, but there are many others who decide to take the job (somewhere real good) for an entire semester in middle of junior or senior year and then come back to school to finish it.
