<p>according to the ucb scheme site doesnt work on vista but i havent tried it myself. does anyone know of a way to work ucb scheme on vista? i really dont want to create another partition on my laptop and dual boot.</p>

<p>If you’re at Berkeley and have a CS account, download Exceed 2008 and ssh into your account. That’s what I do, and it works perfectly.
If you’re not at Berkeley, and just need Berkeley Scheme for personal use, then I’m afraid I really can’t help since I don’t know enough. I do know that MIT Scheme is fairly similar so you could have a look and see if that’s compatible with vista.</p>
<p>Yeah if you have an account from a CS class, download Exceed and SSH Secure Shell Client, log into a Berkeley server and use STK within emacs.</p>
