UCB/UCLA - Out of State

I was not accepted at my top options (NYU, Georgetown) so I am debating between Fordham University, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Montgomery College (CC). I was wondering if UCLA Anderson and UC Berkeley Haas do consider out of state community college students? And are they actually competitive in admissions?

Montgomery College is a CC in Maryland, New York Times has written about it in the article I posted below. I was accepted into their honors business program which provides honors business courses, free tuition for two years, a well as extra curriculars among other things. So it is in fact a top community college, but I know that the UC’s are very stringent about out of state students for transfers.

Thanks!

UCLA Anderson is for the MBA program… no undergrad business school unless you’re referring to BizEcon in the College of Letter and Science.

UCB Haas and UCLA BizEcon are very difficult to get into, from with the UC and via in-state transfer students. From an out-of-state applicant transfer perspective, the UCs give priority to in-state students. But that doesn’t mean you do not have a chance; you just have to have impeccable stats.

If you plan on attending Montgomery CC, have Georgetown MSB should be an option too.

Alright thanks!

Yeah I hadn’t done much research into UCLA, just added it in there while I was asking. Yeah definitely, Georgetown has very solid connections with Montgomery College and definitely will be a top when I transfer.
