<p>Average admit from CC (in-state) to Berkeley Haas is a 3.88 GPA. Your honors society participation would help you, but as you can tell, the competition is unbelievable fierce. To give you an idea how fierce, they accepted exactly 1 transfer student from OOS last year.</p>
<p>If you took the standard prerequisites and did well, this would make a difference–accounting, calculus, statistics, and economics are classes that should be on your resume and that you have your "A"s in. Still you are less than 50–50. Sorry.</p>
<p>Best of luck, though. I would consider also applying to someplace like USC (Marshall) or UCR’s business program in addition to Haas.</p>
<p>P.S. My son is 3.6 (in-state), currently attending a well-respected top 10 undergraduate business school located in the midwest, and also in the honors society there–and is not even considering applying to UC Berkeley (which is about an hour from his permanent home here in California), since he knows his odds are so slim.</p>
