UCD vs. UCI: For a Career in Law

I know there’s numerous UCD versus UCI threads already… But I have one regarding future law students… UCD would probably have more internships right? But then UCI has “Criminology, Law and Society” as a major which would probably more geared for a career in law… And I probably would be more interested in that than Political Science (which is what I plan on majoring in if I go to Davis) So what is more important? The internship or the major?

Both can open doors for you collegebound2006. A major can develop areas of interest futher. An internship will give you hands on experience, and you can try more than one area to see what you really like.
IMHO:
Have you looked at the Sociology major at Davis? Here is a link:

collegemom16, thanks a lot for that link. But you kind of made my decision even harder… ahaha. =P Thanks anways. =)

UCD would make more sense since its right there next to the capital.

Glad to have made you need to think a little harder about your decision collegebound! ;)

it doesn’t matter where you go for undergrad but rather what you do that matters most

^
what should i do while being an udergrad?

well you know just bust your ass studying and getting those high grades it will pay off when you apply for law school

should i do any extra cirricular? if so, what do you recommend?

join some clubs and try to get an internship at a lawfirm. just go there and ask if u could work there for free.
