<p>Does anyone have a more info about UCDC then what is provided by the websites?</p>

<p>I am curious what the “real” requirements are. For example what I mean the prerequisites for transferring to a UC state you need a minimum 2.4 GPA but I’m pretty sure we all know that a 2.4 isn’t going to do much admission wise. So when the UCDC page you need a 3.0 I can only assume that is merely a low starting point. </p>

<p>Is it difficult for transfers to get accepted? My concern is being able to find a good letter of recommendation from a professor after such a short period of time. </p>

<p>I plan on double majoring wherever I end up as a Media Studies/Communications and Political Science, will trying to do this really set me back? </p>

<p>And lastly, is it crazy to try to do both UCDC AND study abroad?</p>

<p>University of California, Washington Center. It’s an internship program in DC for I THINK all the UC campuses.</p>

<p>Oh, I’ve heard of the program but don’t really know much about it. I know some transfer students talked about at UCLA’s PILOT Day and said it was a great experience.</p>

<p>My brother did it and he was able to study at Georgetown, I think it is a combo of that with an internship. Just give them a call and post what you find out.</p>
