A really Really long time… 
i got waitlisted for fall 
I applied mid January, on 2/2/16 they acknowledged that all paperwork was received and being processed. I applied for FALL2016. Everything is good with me except for my SAT scores. Congrats on your acceptance @BOBROSS
@tms091797 I know it’s not the update you were hoping for, but at least you know something and still have a good chance of getting in. They’ll be waiting to see how many people actually register to attend…unlike me, waiting in the wings of the unknown 8-| . How long did it take them to update your status?
College is suppose to be an exciting next step into adulthood, but my, this is quite stressful.
@chazovee Yeah i’m glad i didn’t get flat out denied and still have a chance of getting in! UCF is my number one school I want to go to so i’m hoping for the best from here on out!
I applied in the beginning of October, got deferred in the beginning of January, and got waitlisted on monday this week.

@tms091797 I just checked my UCF status and they accepted me in the SOAR program but it starts in the summer. It’s better than being denied, so I’m very grateful. I just retook the SAT on 3/5. The admissions counselor advised me to send in my new scores (if higher) I may be reconsidered for regular admission in the fall.
Someone did get Denied, there is a topic called UCF appeal.

@Snapper14 I was accepted into UCF summer 2016 with an ACT of 23 so as long as the rest of your credentials are good you should have a chance of getting accepted. Good luck!
Dont worry about being considered for fall admission. Based on the information entailed in the soar program details on the site, you gain fall admission if you complete the program. And the classes you take are classes all freshmen take. It’s basically summer B with involvement provoking activities that ensure you stay on track you feel me? I was also inducted and was later offered fall admission but chose to do the soar bc i can get some classes done early and it counts towards 9( 6 given during summer) credits of summer credits required.
