Applied Dec 21st, Still haven’t heard. I just finished by FAFSA yesterday 2/27/16. Do you think they may be waiting on that. I am out of state for residency.
My daughter was also deferred. She actually visited an admission advisor in person who also told her that her grades were not what they normally get there. She is a 3.0 Goes to a private prep school in NY. SAT’s were average. Senior year schedule very challenging. The problem is even though her classes are classified as rigorous and upper level classes they do not weight them. UCF is her first choice. Has visited 3x. First to make sure she would like the campus. The next 2 were to show interest. So far still deferred. We are keeping our fingers crossed that as the spring goes on some spots will open up.
Another update…son was accepted today. Applied Sept, deferred Jan. 3.1/3.8 (w) GPA, 32 ACT

My D opened a spot for someone else to attend UCF yesterday, she do not accept UCF’s admittance offer. Hopefully someone here who had UCF as their top choice but was deferred is now admitted because my daughter’s spot opened up. Good Luck everyone.
Applied about 3-4 weeks ago was accepted this morning. No merit scholarships though. I probably missed the deadline…

Hi everyone. I’m new here…I’m currently waiting to hear back from UCF as well. How long does it normally take for them to provide a decision once all documentation has been received? I’m super nervous of the possible outcome of being rejected…keeping my fx.
I applied to UCF for the summer term 2016. I got a 22 on the ACT. I have a weighted gpa of 3.8. I have passed 4 AICE exam in my junior year and I am taking 4 more this year. Please rate me! Does anyone get admitted with an ACT score of 22?
