I checked my.ucf today and saw that I received the Provost Scholarship! I am so excited and literally cried a little from happiness. Not sure of the amount yet!

Today DD received (in the mail) the application for the Honors College. Then checked her myucf account and there was the offer for the Knight’s Achievement Scholarship award.

DS finally got his acceptance today! He applied back in September and finally emailed them on Friday. The reminder must have worked! He’s very excited about UCF being a possibility for him.
Congrats! Stats? I’ve been waiting since then as well, and I’m starting to get nervous.

Awesome! I have just about the same–1270 CR + M, 1910 overall, and my GPA is a 3.7 weighted on my transcripts. Unfortunately, UCF recalculated it so like a 3.3, so I’m pretty worried about not getting in because of that. I’d be happy just getting summer at this point. Where does UCF stand in your kid’s choices?

@UCFan123 , your stats are definitely in line with my son’s so hopefully you’ll be hearing good news soon. My son has applied to 10 schools and received acceptances from 3 so far - Bowling Green, University of South Carolina and UCF. UCF was in his top 3 (along with UMass & Elon) but when it took so long to hear back he started to reexamine other schools on his list more carefully. He wants to study Sports Management but UCF only offers it as a minor - but he loves the campus & location, that’s why it’s so high on his list. He should hear back from 4 more schools by Christmas and he’s trying to keep his options open and see if any schools offer him merit aid.
How does UCF recalculate GPA? 3.1UW and 1330 CR here… Applied October 4. No news so far…
Not sure where to post this so I’ll put it here; I received my Burnett Honors College acceptance letter today!!
They take your core subjects a recalculate them, with honors receiving .5 extra weight, and AP receiving 1.0.
has anyone received scholarship yet? where do we look for it?

My daughter applied in November but we are out of state so feel a little left out of the loop. Hoping some questions can be answered. Trying to keep up so I apologize if any of these have been answered previously. How does everyone know their UCF recalculated GPA. Her school does not give out GPA or class rank. She went down to Open House last week to try to find out what it is but she didn’t bring her ID with her so they wouldn’t give her the information. She tried to email and find out but they said in person only. Secondly, have they given out any denials yet? Probably too early but just wondering if that is a good sign. Lastly, what comes first…the email with the acceptance or the UCF Status update. Thanks so much!
